Bath time isn’t always fun and bubbles. Have a toddler at your house and you know EXACTLY what I mean. Afterwards, I need a bath just to relax from the whole ordeal.
Remembering back, baths used to be fun right around the time we were going to music classes at Gymboree. The highlight being at the end of the class, when the teacher would bust out a bubble blower. Mini bubbles filled the room which magically tranquilized the tots.
I needed one. A mini bubble blower, that is. So I made one. And you can too to create instant bath time bliss!
1. Using an empty plastic water bottle cut off the top with an exacto knife.
2. Cut off the bottom portion. Discard the middle portion.
3. Trim off rough edges using scissors.
4. Thread a handful (~10) of plastic straws through the bottom (leaving about 2 inches in the inside) and out the top of the bottle.
5. Make sure straws are level. Trim leaving approximately 1 inch.
6. Fill the bottom portion with bubble bath or homemade bubbles. Dip into bubbles and blow!
I’m glad you found something that works! Great idea!
