Edible Eyeballs

October 19, 2015

eyeball-halloween-cookiesHalloween seems to be one of those holidays that’s slightly more involved — likely our themed family costumes are to blame?! ha! So when choosing fun activities to do with the kids, I tend to lean more towards the simplistic. These edible eyeball cookies don’t require any baking or homemade ingredients (insert monkey covering his eyes emoji). Yes, good ole store-bought-expiration-circa-10-years-from-now chocolate sandwich cookies (or in this case, Halloween Joe Joe’s) are the main stay for these fun cookies. Roll them in melted chocolate, top them with gummy ring irises, and you’re set to make all who eat them smile! Can’t you just see them served at a dinner party, one at each place setting… poked a’top an antique fork? Eek!
