Some of our best conversations have occurred over food. I can tell you this much, he would have prefered a big fat breakfast burrito with a side of biscuits and gravy rather than a cup of tea. Says hot drinks make his upper lip sweat. Ew!
Forget the sweat. These mugs were too cute to pass up. Heck! I’ll brew two cups for me and my lonesome all while pretending to be both sides of the lovie-dovie conversation if I have to.
And it was deep one, in case anyone was wondering.
Fill them with one of my favorites – Tazo’s Passion Herbal Tea
And just because he didn’t listen very well over breakfast tea, I sent my sentiments in the sweetest little book I ever did read. “I Like You” is perfect for a friend, spouse, or anyone who is extra special in your life. And if I might add, perfect for stuffing into a little Lover’s Day lunch… A little thought to go with food.
Where did you get those cute cups?
Oopsie! Sorry, Jackie. Just realized I didn’t put links to the cups or the sweet little book. Updated the post with links!
This day of love is pretty lame. Sorry but couldn’t you do better? This one’s a crapper
So sorry you feel this way. In choosing these two days I wanted to show simple ways to express appreciation that anyone could do. “I Like You” was one of Husby’s favorite things this year.
Michelle,
I’ve always been a firm believer that if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it.
The comment is unnecessary and quite rude. I think Missy does an extraordinary job with her website and developing each post.
I like day 8 &9, and the book is a treasure. Keep the love day entries coming…..
Thank you!!
I love this! Sweet and simple are sometimes the best ways!! I love adding love notes in my fiancés lunch 🙂 He would love this book! Those mugs are adorable!
Really enjoying these 14 days of love!
This is the sweetest thing! Having no clue what to do for my hubby for Valentines, I have been following “14 days of love” hoping to get an idea. What a cute post. Gorgeous
Adorable idea Missy! I now know that on V-day, I will be packing my hubby a lunch with a few cute extras! Now, if I only knew how to fold the paper around the sandwich the way you did with the little fold to tuck in a valentine!!!! xo
I’d be happy to do a little video tut for the sandwich wrapping! Maybe I can try to squeeze it in before Valentine’s Day and I’ll update here on this post. Thank you for your sweet words! xo
