Fortunate (Day 7)

Husby here.

Since being married to superwoman is a blessing and a curse adventure, I thought she deserved a night off. These 14 days of love are some serious business. 

Earlier in the day, I texted her letting her know I had dinner and the boys covered. I came home, put the boys down, and we ate take-out while watching the Bachelor (we haven’t missed a season since we met). Guess you could say we love love stories!

I really do count myself fortunate to have her.

In case you want to know about the fortune cookie, I got it on Amazon. She’s crazy about that free 2-day shipping thing we have. Don’t get me started…

    Those are my FAVORITE days when my husband says he has it taken care of! It lets you appreciate your family,! Not that I don’t the other nights, but cleaning up the kitchen gets old fast!

    Good for you Missy’s husby!! Either she has trained you well or you are just a very thoughtful guy. We LOVE it when you guys say you’ll get a sitter for the kids (or get the kids to bed) and plan a date. And we LOVE it even more when you follow through. Fun date night idea!! You two are amazingly adorable together.

    I love that husby stepped in! Pei Wei is one of my favorites! We really need to get one here! I love watching the Bachelor, but I tend to watch it more for the drama. I think the best part is looking at twitter on the commercial breaks! I do love a good love story, but the drama is just better on that show… My husband hates it though… lol
