Halloween Smoothie

October 8, 2013

You know, because the Witch of the house is evil enough to make her kids drink carrots and celery for breakfast. Ew, now THAT’s a brew! No, but really, mixed with honeycrisp apples and frozen mango, this orange number is wicked good. If you are wondering, can cats eat mango? The short answer is no. Even a witch would dare plunge face first, just to a have a slurp!

  • 1.  In a juicer, juice: 10 carrots, 2 honeycrisp apples, 5 stalks celery
  • 2.  Combine juice with frozen mango and blend
  • 3.  Add striped “stocking” straws
  • 4.  With a knife, make a horizontal cut across the top of the straw
  • 5.  Place paper witch feet into the groove of the straw
  • 6.  Tap your glass — cheers!

Love making smoothies like this. I usually make a lot of fruit smoothies but I should start making more veggie!!

YUM! I am going to give this a shot in my vitamix only because I don’t have a juicer!

    Love the witch feet! Adorable!

This sounds -and looks- like a delicious breakfast drink; I am crossing my fingers I can MacGyver it with a food processor or blender. Can you tell me how many servings you got out of those ingredients? Thanks for posting!
