Sweater weather calls for a big steaming bowl of chicken and dumplings… with a nice long nap, afterwards. I made this while visiting my family in Colorado — it may have been the only meal where moaning and groaning overtook the need for conversation. This cozy bowl of goodness, is the ultimate comfort food minus the extra cushion to the keester (unlike most, it doesn’t involve cream). If you’re trying to be really good, forgo the dumpling. But then again, the dumplings are sort of delectable.
Putting this on the weekend meal plan! It’ll be double layer sweater weather, & i am already imagining transferring this to some big cafe au lait mugs & warming our hands. Thank you for the recipe!
Oh yummy 🙂 May have to be Sundays dinner!
Crazy question, where do you buy your white tees? They always seem the perfect length!
