Salmon and pasta seem like quite the odd couple, don’t they? I’m one to agree with you. However, when coupled with creamy alfredo, fresh dill, peppery chives, and tart sundried tomatoes, you’ll soon learn why this match was made in noodle heaven!

Well, now I know what I am making tonight! Looks Delish!
Thank you!
This looks brilliant; I’m pinning the heck out of it. And adding it to the menu for my parents’ visit. Thank you for the recipe!
So, update….
I DID end up making this for dinner last night and it was AMAZING! Rave reviews from all! 🙂
We all tweak recipes when we get them, and I pretty much followed this one; however, one suggestion…squeeze a little fresh lemon juice over the top as part of the garnish, really helps!
So happy to hear you enjoyed it!
That looks so yummy!! Definitely saving this recipe!!
xo Ash,
Sincerely Miss Ash
Hey Missy!
I hope you and the family are doing well =) I had a quick question about this recipe; you list “1 cup cream” & “1 1/2 cup half and half” in this recipe…i cook, and arent those the same thing? My husby LOVES salmon and I want to make him this…we will love it!
Thanks!!!
Cindy
Hi Cindy! Cream has a higher fat content than half&half. The cream is needed to keep the sauce from curdling and separating when boiled. The half&half is essentially half cream and half whole milk. So if you have whole milk on hand, you could alter the recipe so you don’t have to buy half&half. Think I could say, half&half one more time? ha!
I have to tell you, my husband and I love this recipe so so much! It’s become our go-to meal for celebrating everything 🙂 New home, new job, you name it! So thank you for sharing because this recipe is now a special part of lives! ha!
