Spring can be such a tease — one day it’s snowing and the next you’re in flip flops. I’ve learned the hard way, the weather forecast around here, can not be trusted. It’s best to just plan for ANY situation (rain, sleet, snow, wind, you know… and the occasional cloudy with a chance of meatballs – haha). Pile the layers on for morning and gradually mix and match the pieces throughout the day. Speaking of layers… I’m on a HUGE “layering-kick” with jewelry. I’ve always been one for stacking bracelets up to my elbow (and you think I’m kidding); but lately the obsession has transferred to the necklace department, too! In a rush out the door, I forgot to put on this one. And the piece that stays securely fastened ’round my neck, at all times — favorite designer, Page Sargisson’s amazing calendar charm! I can’t tell you how many people stop and ask me about it — makes my heart giggle to share my adoration for the designer and the thoughtful way she commemorated our 10th wedding anniversary.
