If haven’t already noticed, all shades of blue and stripes are BIG this summer! BIG is kind of an understatement here. I’m talking… if stripes were a baked potato? Yeah. They’d be fully loaded a la mode style. They are everywhere! And I’m eating it up, friendlies!
Check out that tusher in those white jeans? Mercy! I have bum envy! They were big (not the bum, the trend) in spring but will be even bigger for summer! Cropped, shorts, skirts, jeggings… you name it – they’ll all be in white denim. Colored denim is also kind of a thing… but to me, if not done completely spot on…it’s border lining on 80’s pop princess. White is classic. Have fun with color elsewhere, rather than on your derriere.
If you’re going with blue denim, get 2 pairs: A cropped pair (roll up with a wedge shoe) and a wide leg. The spring trends: lace, crochet, wedges, and coral are all sticking around for summer too. Good news, right?
The new “it” color in polish is Chanel’s Mimosa. Coral reds, orange, fushia, and even sea foam & baby pink are also trending.
Oversized shades & cropped boxy tees with layers are also popping up. Light weight scarves (with nautical birds & small prints) are a quick way to add interest to a basic solid.
Let’s not forget our bestie, Miss Maxi. Oh Maxi, how you make me swoon. On days when I don’t shave, you are my saving sister.
