With fall quickly approaching, apples are popping up everywhere! I found these little beauties just begging to be glossed over in candy!
Candy apples are goregous… but in my opinion, their looks supersede their taste. Whereas, caramel apples are delicious but hide an apple’s natural beauty. This rendition is semi transparent (so as to highlight the apple’s orginial colors) while still maintaining taste! More or less if a caramel & candy were to “do the deed” this would be their offspring.
The hint of zesty orange coupled with the warm undertones of maple really set these apart – the ultimate petite treat!
These are gorgeous! They look delicious and the most of the ingredients are things that everyone already would have on hand, I can’t wait to make them!
Tip… just make sure you cook to at least 250-260 degrees or else you’ll get a sticky mess that keeps your teeth clenched together. I may or may not have messed up the first batch! ha!
Oh my! I’m definitely going to have to try this out for fall!! Love the twig idea!!
The twigs made them really fun. Can’t wait to hear how they turn out for you, Drew. xo
I LOVE the idea of using actual sticks and twigs instead of popsicle sticks. How cute!
More rustic, right? Thank you, doll!
i love how you can make an ordinary thing EXTRAordinary but just the small little special touches. i love how you used a twig!
