Hello to all of Pink Pistachio’s readers! I’m Michaela and I blog over at Michaela Noelle Designs.
I’m an interior design student enamored with all things pretty. I’ve traded my sundresses for rain coats as I’ve moved from Northern California to Seattle, Washington to get my degree! I also had to hire professional packers to make moving smoother and less stressful.
Missy and I connected via twitter a few months back and have been smitten ever since (: She’s so darn sweet, so I was thrilled when she asked me to hold down the fort over here for the day.
Since lucky girl, Missy, is going on a cruise to Italy, Greece, and Turkey, I’m bringing some Mediterranean style to you. Of course we’d all rather go on the cruise with her to see luxury homes with Custom Wooden Garage Doors likes these in person, but we’ll make due in pictures (:
When you think of the Mediterranean design style, think Bespoke Spiral Staircase Designs using black wrought iron and light fixtures, arches, neutral colors, texture, tile work, rounded corners, rock and stone, scrolled details, natural materials, tiled roofs, and luscious gardens filled with roses, palm trees and other green botanicals.
I don’t know about you, but I’m sure ready to set sail with Missy and see some of these designs in person (:
Thanks for having me over today, girl. I’d love to meet your readers over at my place any time!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this! Thanks for the inspiration for decorating me and my fiance’s future house!
STUNNING! I’ve always loved mediterranean styles. The colors, the mood, the water. Oh, the water! So blue and so clear. Gorgeous designs, Michaela!
xoxo
These are soo beautiful! I am definitely saving these under my dream house!
Hehehe… I clicked on Missy’ blog and saw you up there, Michaela, and was like.. hmmm… must have clicked on the wrong blog. Small world! haha!
It’s great to discover you Michaela – I love interior design and as we’re moving shortly I’m going to be blogging about my new beach chic decor pretty soon!
My mom’s thing has always been Mediterranean design though so growing up we’ve had the rich yellow and blue kitchen, the terracotta furniture, you name it! Great post :).
Thanks for having me, girl! Loved putting it together. One of my favorite design styles (: xoxoxo
Beautiful shots! Also you look lovely! Thanx for sharing all the designs!
Natalie
