Holey Donuts!

Donuts are one of those sure things to make Husby happy. Like, when I need to say I’m sorry or I love you or Please can I have what I’ve been begging for type of deal. Donuts work better than words for The Mister.

This morning was an, I want to say I love you, type-of-a-day. So I made them homemade. Here’s where the hol(e)y part comes in! Warm, steamy, fluffy and lightly sweetened. AND no yucky filmy after taste on the roof of your mouth… Yes, even after inhaling 3 in one sitting (Loverbuns has a major restraint problem).

Not going to lie (because I kinda like you guys) they aren’t the easiest thing to whip up. That being said, don’t be scared and go for it! Whether you say donut or doughnut, the end result is definitely worth it!

Psst! The donut mold I used can be purchased HERE. I bought mine at THIS store. This pan can also be used for baking cake donuts!

    MMMM…. I love donuts too. I have a slight weakness. okay, well, maybe more than slight. I’ve never tried to make home-made though. I think the thought of the task is a little daunting, even though I do like to bake. Great Job Missy! 🙂

      Try it! You’ll LOVE them… so light and fluffy! I regret not taking a bite to show you the inside yumminess!
