Everyone around here seems to be talking about this thing called Christmas. I guess it’s coming pretty soon. All I know is there’s a few things my fellow furry friends should know about this holiday.
1. For whatever reason, humans will bring a tree inside. They put lights all over it and pretty decorations (some that smell really tasty).
2. Don’t eat the decorations, not even licks are allowed.
3. Boys, this one’s for you. The tree indoors is NOT the same as the one outdoors. Under no circumstances should you… a’hem “mark your spot”
4. The cord from the tree isn’t a new chew toy. I’ve gotten into trouble more than I can count on both paws for this one.
5. Just give in if your humans feel the need to dress you in obnoxious sweaters, bells, or even antlers. Apparently they call these things cute.
6. Expect to see large bags filled with things they call gifts. Don’t sneak gifts out of the bag and hide for later. Your human will start rummaging through the entire house, pointing their finger at you, and start foaming at the mouth. You’ll have nightmares for days.
7. Mind your tail. Excessive wagging against unfamiliar guests may result in glares.
8. Bizarre as this may seem, don’t dig at boxes under the tree with your name on it.
9. Striped candies are delicious! But do NOT eat the clear wrapper. Going potty will be beyond awkward & embarrassing.
10. Above all, render more kisses and tail wags. It WILL result in more belly rubs and spontaneous treats. Humans are extra nice around this time of year.
Merry Christmas to You and Yours!

LuLu
Awww…merry Christmas Lulu!
What a fun post! Our yellow lab, Libby Lou got in her stocking and took out her new tennis balls. Stinker. Funny thing I didn’t put it together for two days. I kept thinking oh, she has found a ball from someone’s yard. Then duh, lights came shining through, I realized I bought those for Christmas.
This post was so cute! Haha I always think duke is thinking “what in the world”when I put the tree up… 🙂
Oh I love this!! Lulu really is one of the most photographic dogs in the world 🙂
I have to hide my dog’s Christmas stocking because if I left it up it would be torn to shreds/eaten prior to Christmas Day.
Wishing you, Lulu and the whole family a lovely Christmas day xo
Merry Christmas Lulu!!! So. Stinkin. Cute.
Oh how I love this post!! I, too, enjoy allowing my dog to take over my blog with features I call “Brutus Blogs”.
I adore the golden hearts you have in the background. What a beautiful touch!
Happy Holidays!!!!!
Miss Lulu is so smart! I love the ruffles on her sweater, if only Tess was that tiny. I’m going to try to put some reindeer antlers on her head because it will be “cute!” I’ll take a video, I don’t think a picture would be fast enough!
