This year Loverbuns surprised me with a few sweet gifts. The 6th year is celebrated with candy & iron… but Husby thought gold was a better choice in metal. I whole-tiny-heartedly agree! How sweet is THIS ring? Talk about a daily adornment that will sweep me off my feet every time I glance down. One. Lucky. Lady.

My guy is kind of the simple type. He knows what he likes. Most things that make him grin are the little things. You see if my mug was sitting on this shelf I might just have to come back every day in the winter. And for that matter, maybe even every day in the summer. Okay, okay. I know. That means I’d have to live here. And I don’t. At least not yet. So that means for now I’m not part of the mug club. I’m jealous of Grandma Pete. Sad day.

The above french toast isn’t your typical egg dunked bread. This is cinnamon roll french toast. You heard me, Willace! They slice cinnamon rolls to dunk in eggs and then fry it to golden brown goodness. Yeah. Hot diggity!
Ryan’s dad called to wish us a Happy Anniversary. All I heard was, muffled blah blah blah’s mixed in with my own thoughts of, “Flippin’ flapjacks, he’s all mine? What a stud!”
