Where did you get the beautiful sweater and scarf!!! You are so adorable!

    • missy November 2, 2012 at 7:34 pm

Floral cardi is from F21 as seen in this post: http://www.pinkpistachio.com/mixing-it-up/ The scarf is actually a blouse that ties. It was given to me as a gift from a boutique in California. Thanks for the love!

Are you wearing the plum elf polish in this video?

    • missy November 2, 2012 at 7:37 pm

Yep! Might’ve been helpful to say that in the video. Errr. Ha!

  • Marla November 2, 2012 at 7:36 pm

I loved it. Thanks for sharing. I would love to see anything you decide to post. Love to save money and still love to look great at the same time. Have a great weekend!

  • Danielle C November 2, 2012 at 8:44 pm

This post made me like you even more 🙂 I would have totally quoted my fav ice cream in place of the eye shadow 🙂 I’m really excited about the NYX lip cream! I will be trying that soon!

  • Jessica November 2, 2012 at 8:51 pm

You are so darn cute! If you have any cute DIY home stuff would love for you to share! Have a great weekend.

  • Sherrie November 2, 2012 at 9:26 pm

You are too cute…You make me smile!….I so enjoy watching you because you are so down to earth and real….I have a hard time finding a mascara that works (have many tubes to prove it)…Love it that you did the leg work…Running out to Sephora to get a tube of They’re Real…Thanks!

  • Cece November 2, 2012 at 9:37 pm

Thanks for the great video! Looks like I will be visiting Tar-jaay very soon!

I currently use the Garnier BB cream under my Bare Minerals and it has worked pretty well for me, but I would love to see what you think about Maybelline or another budget BB cream in comparison to Dr. Jarts. 🙂

  • becca November 2, 2012 at 10:18 pm

This was great! Loved this video. And am loving your hair! Can’t wait to grow mine out so I can have fun again with curls and waves, etc. I really enjoyed your favorite find segment and would love to see more. You always keep your blog new and fresh and it keeps me coming back for more 🙂

  • Kendra November 3, 2012 at 2:13 am

Super helpful! Great advice. I need to hit up target more often for make up!

  • Holly November 3, 2012 at 2:40 am

Just by chance I stumbled onto your site and have been tuning in ever since. Every evening I cant wait to log on to see what you have posted next!! You always have the most beautiful photos as well as such fun creative ideas. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful, fun and relatable thoughts!! :0)

  • Sasha-cha cha November 3, 2012 at 2:01 pm

My Target put that elf polish on clearance so when I went to get it, it was all gone! In happier news, OPI sells a comparable color called caffeine fix.. Bit of a splurge at $9.50, but when you are a beauty insider with Sephora, you always get the awesome free samples and earn beauty points toward deluxe samples, too! FYI, I am ecstatic about your elf primer info! I would not have realized they sold that if not for your video, thanks!!

I’ve been looking for the perfect plum polish shade so I’m definitely on the hunt for that one ! Thanks !

Just wanted to throw out there an eyebrow filler suggestion! I have really horrible eyebrows so I constantly fill them in and was always trying new products. I use to use Clinique Superfine Liner for Brows (Sephora – $15.00) until I discovered Maybelline Define-a-Brow (About $6.00 – Walmart/Sally Beauty/Target). I found that the Clinique point use to break quite often where as the Maybelline does not, the slightly thicker point is also MUCH easier to work with and on the end of the Maybelline there is a little brow brush.

This was a great video, thank you!!! I’m a big fan of Bare Minerals products too (after seeing your past posts :-)) and I’m really excited to try some of the e.l.f. products now and save some moolah! Plus, this will give me another excuse to go Target – is it bad that I could roam around in there for hours??!! I’m new-ish to your site, but I love it! I’ve never had so much success with my hair and make up, thank you!

This is great! I love your tutorials. I would love to see you do a vlog on fall/winter fashions especially for blondes! I see so many great youtube videos but they seem to focus on brunettes and I know that there are some things colors blondes should wear. I would love a peak into some of your go to fall/winter fashions! I feel like spring and summer are easier to coordinate for blondes…but I tend to just stick to brown or just boring solids because I get confused. Please, please, please!!

  • jan November 4, 2012 at 7:37 pm

i would love to see bargain hair products.

  • Michelle November 5, 2012 at 6:22 am

I love your videos and tutorials!! I’d LOVE to see more budget beauty finds and dupes!! We all have to save a buck when we can, right?!

  • Julie November 5, 2012 at 6:55 am

You are sooo pretty!!! Question: How long have you had that tube of They’re Real mascara? The reason I ask is because some mascaras dry out quickly and within a month, don’t have the same quality as they once did 🙁 I want to make sure before spending $25 on a mascara, that it will give me great results for a few months! Thanks! Oh and some other great lip glosses– Bonne Bell and Lip Smacker Sparkler! Yes I feel like a 13 yr old buying them (I’m 26 lol) but they are perfect lil glosses!!

  • Kristi November 5, 2012 at 1:36 pm

I just so happened to run out of my MAC mascara this week and your post was perfect timing! I got the They’re Real mascara yesterday and you are so right…amazing!! Thanks so much! Just a side note, have you ever tried Dior nail polish? I received one in a gift bag a few weeks ago and I’m amazed how long it lasts compared to every other brand. I’m freaking telling all my friends about it!

  • Krista Kerns November 5, 2012 at 2:41 pm

Missy! Nail polish help! I’m dying to get my hands on the plum & red Elf nail polish. I have searched our Targets nearby & neither of them have it. 🙁

They only sell one set online.

If I sent you some moola can I get you to send me some of that nail polish? 🙂

  • Becca November 7, 2012 at 4:17 am

I LOVE this “finds” video!! I would love for you to do more about different things! It is so helpful to see what others have used to get good ideas. I will definitely be trying some of these out!!

Also- I have been using Mally’s Volumizing Mascara and LOVE. LOVE. LOVE IT!!! Would love to hear your thoughts about it and how it compares to this one you mentioned. I buy them off of QVC for 2/$28

  • Heather ODell November 7, 2012 at 9:28 pm

Thank you so much for doing this, lots of great tips. It is so frustrating to buy new make up and only use it once or twice because it doesn’t work so great. I have a drawer full of it.

  • Megan November 10, 2012 at 5:11 am

You are seriously the most fun person ever. I would love to see more “vlogs” about budget friendly finds for the home, dog, beauty, etc. I also love the creaminess of the Sally Hanson nail polishes. Another great eyeliner find, is the e.l.f. waterproof eyeliner pen from Target for like $1 or something insanely cheap! Thanks for all the great finds!

  • Kate Brockmeyer November 11, 2012 at 2:36 pm

Can’t wait to try out Enormous Lash! Thanks so much for sharing!! XOXOX

I really enjoyed this tutorial. I happen to stumble across this and I am glad I did. You are so funny. You remind me of me 🙂 I look forward to more tutorials on beauty products and maybe you can share some skin care tips also.
