Charleston has always been one of our favorite cities to visit. There’s no other place quite like it. Picture an old-world European slash Colonial experience preserved within modern-day America. There’s almost an unspoken reverence that can be felt throughout the entire city. It’s beauty, charm and hospitality, amazing food, not to mention history, beckon anyone to keep coming back.

Oh, how I would love to visit Charleston! Thanks for the inspiration, and oh my life, how I love your sandals! xx
Love Charleston! It is only 2 1/2 hours from my house so we love to just take a spontaneous weekend down there. You are right, there is nothing quite like it. Beautiful pictures.
OMG! This post makes me want to cry! I’ve lived overseas with my hubby and son now for almost 5 years and just told we are moving Germany in December, thought I am so grateful for all these amazing chances to live in other countries, Charleston is my home. I have lived there most of my life and could feel and even smell it just from looking at your photos…I miss it so much, it becomes apart of who you are and the lifestyle you live. You have to go of course shopping on King Street and there are tons of great little shops in-between. Also, go to the old Court house, they have an open air market and the most amazing restaurants lined up along the side, including my favorite, Fudge Factory. Do the horse and buggy ride, yes it is very “touristy” but the kids will love it and it’s fun. Oh Charleston, get ready, because I’m coming home for an extended visit! 🙂
My most favorite city. So lucky too have a bother and sister in law they’re so we visit non stop. They own Two Boroughs Larder on Coming street…you will have to check it out next time. Also love the Gin Joint, Macintosh, lucky dog on folly beach, and pretty much everything about Charleston!
I AM OBSESSED with your shoes! Your style is AMAZING 🙂 What a neat post, I hope to visit someday! Thank you for sharing 🙂 Love + Shine CourtStar
Aren’t you the cutest little thing! I LOVE your whole outfit! And of course, your little trip would NOT be complete without ice cream! 🙂

We love Folly Beach! My husband and I made a trip to Charleston when we lived in Charlotte two summers ago and have been dying to go back. Don’t you just die over those plantation houses??
