Sometimes dying Easter eggs in classic pastels is best. Other times, dressing up the yellow ones in chick costumes is better!
Simply reserve a few hard boiled eggs (dyed yellow), dot black circles for eyes, and glue on a construction paper beak (square folded on a diagonal) and fuzzy yellow chick feathers ($1.50 at Michaels) on top!
Presto! Little chicks that live in the fridge until you feel brave enough to eat one. We’ve yet to be so daring. Part of me feels bad knocking him on the side of the head and peeling him.
I know. I know. He’s not real… but he’s cute. And that counts for something.
Adorable!
Haha! I love them! They are so cute!! It looks like everyone had lots of fun =) (little chicks and all)
I just pinned these! So cute!
I totally miss decorating eggs, I used to look forward to it every year!! I may just have to do this!!! Lol

awww so adorable!! what age did you start G on dying eggs? my LO is 15 months old.. is that too young?
We did eggs with him last year too (almost 2 years old) but he didn’t quite get it. I don’t think any age is too young as long as you’re having fun together! 🙂
These are so cute! I can’t wait to add them to Easter decorating fun!
Super cute! I will do that with my kids this year….my first son was a chicken hatching out of his egg for his first Halloween. The costume came out so cute, totally reminded me of these lol.
Love this! I’m definitely going to pin this, so I can do it next week for Easter decoration!
