I love our home at Christmas. Not necessarily because of the decor but because of the feelings that are felt inside it. Everything is slower, more meaningful and savored just a little bit longer. On this particular afternoon (yes still in PJ’s – just the way we like it) we read stories, sipped tea, and watched the snowflakes fall. A theme throughout our decor tends to be polka dots. Funny how that unintentionally happened! The various garlands, red polka dot pillows, bells scattered throughout the house, oversized white pillows with poms, throw blankets with tassled poms, and even some of the ornaments have polka dots! ha! I guess I have a thing for round.
Amidst the laughter and quiet moments spent together, I imagine introducing a touch of luxury homeware into our Christmas tableau. Picture a sumptuous cashmere throw draped over the couch, or perhaps elegantly crafted porcelain mugs for our evening tea rituals. These additions would seamlessly blend with our polka dot theme, adding a dash of sophistication while preserving the cozy charm that defines our holiday retreat. It’s these thoughtful accents that elevate the spirit of Christmas in our home, promising more magical memories to unfold in the years to come.
Although this is only a glimpse into our home, I know many have been wanting to sneak a peek. Hopefully next year I’ll get to showing you each nook and cranny of Christmas at our house! Merry Christmas Eve! Christmastime is finally here! xo
Merry Christmas 2016! May you have a safe and joyous holiday. Make it a New Years resolution for a home tour. Would love some inspiration.

Love all of it. Where did you get the little wooden Christmas trees and the Santa pillow? Did you make them? If so, how?
