Go For The Gold

The black circles under our eyes do all the talking… Husby and I have stayed up well past midnight each and every night this week… but we’ve enjoyed every minute of it (including the treats. kinda makes the guilt of eating cupcakes at 11pm that much worse admiring all the flawless bodies) ha! These games have been astounding… Makes me BEYOND proud to be an American. Dude, the flying squirrel? Is Gabby even human? That girl gives me goosebumps. But then again, gymnastics has always been my favorite event to watch. A close second is swimming. What have been some of your favorite moments?

The 10,000 meter run this afternoon was pretty neat. I was so proud to watch the US take silver, one of the only white guys competing against the crazy awesome african runners. He was only the third american to ever medal in the event. Go USA!
