He taught me golf lessons in the snow; all a smooth ploy to sneak in our first kiss. He helped pack my apartment (for the very last time) when it dawned on us both — the next time we’d be taping boxes would to move into our first home. He held my hand and cried the most sympathetic tears of love any mother could ever ask for, bringing life into the world three times over. He works harder than anyone I know. He never turns down ice-cream or a donut-run. He mysteriously fills up the car with gas so I don’t have to. He laughs like a rushing rollercoaster ride. He stares at each of us in loving adoration. He races home from his day job, eager to ‘clock-in’ to his night job of making us all smile. He prays on his knees every night. He calls us to say hello every morning. And he never takes credit for the rock that he is to all of us. I can think of about a million and one more things that I love about him — but what I love most, is watching him be ‘Dadda’ to our babies. Love you, love. You’re one in a million! Happy Father’s Day.
