Some exciting news to share, you guys! Aren’t those bottles beautiful? Guess what’s inside them? Oh heavens. That’s not the news. Well, it kinda is… but not really. Oh fart. I’m making you wait… and that’s just me bein’ a stink. So I’ll stop and tell you, already.
I’ve decided to partner with Method cleaning supplies for the next several months!
That being said, each month I’ll be sharing some of their newest products and how I’m using them in my everyday life. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to try them for yourself in an upcoming giveaway! It’s going to be awesome.
Method is just that. An AWESOME company that’s transparent about what they deliver because they’ve got nothing to hide. They disclose all of their ingredients (which are never tested on animals only people via skin patch testing) to ensure all their products are hypoallergenic as well as safe for our planet. If that’s not enough… ALL of their bottles are made from recycled plastics that can be recycled AGAIN which creates zero waste.
I’m all about that! And this GORGEOUS new limited edition Orla Kiely line that’s flying off Target shelves! Both stores nearest me are completely sold out.
Makes sense, considering the pear ginger dish soap made me want to lick my already clean dishes.
Which leads me to our tut…
A DIY stain remover that uses dishwashing bestie, Sir Pear Ginger! Don’tcha just love a guy that’s multifunctional and handsome? Swoon.
1) Scrounge up your nastiest stained clothing (I give you exhibit A: Husby’s sweat stained shirt collar. That’s what humidity will do to a guy… BTW he’s beyond embarrassed about this entire post)
2) Mix together all ingredients.
3) Apply mixture to the stain using a toothbrush. Make sure to remix between each application.
4) It’s safe to use even on colored garments (I give you exhibit B: Old spit-up stains from baby circa 2 years ago… yikes)
5) Let sit 45 min before laundering.
It works like magic. So much so that I’m hiding the bibs… because spaghetti’s for dinner and I want to play with more clothes!

A special thanks to Method for sponsoring this post and sending me my very own bottle to try! Mwah!
oh wow! Love Method but have not seen this new line. Heading to target today to try and get some!! Congrats on your new partnership.
does this have to be done with method products or can i use any hand soap?
I loath stains! So excited to try this!!
definitely will be using this! 3 kids (+ one on the way) = lots of stains! plus I’ll be trying out cloth diapers this time around and need friendly cleaning supplies.
You make housework look so pretty! I love that about you 😉
-Love and sparkles
Target was on my list today, and now I will be stopping by the cleaning isle to pick us some method products. I have always loved them, and i do even more now with that adorable packaging!

Oh wow!! that’s such a great idea! I love yummy smelling dish soap! and it having multi use is amazing! can’t wait to try this on some of my dh’s sweat stained clothes! yay 🙂
What a great tip! Thanks for sharing
Oh, I’ve loved method for as long as I’ve seen it on my Target’s shelves. What a wonderful message they send, and, they work wonders! i love the smell of sweet water.
wooo!! love it! i’m all about DIY cleaning…i’ll be referencing you in an upcoming post for sure! congrats on the new line!
I tried this last night on some of my hubby’s things and it worked fabulously. Thanks for sharing!
This is awesome. What stains/material will it NOT work for? I don’t want to ruin anything worse by trying this.
Ehhh… Well? I’ve only tried it on cottons and some bed linens. I’d hate for you to ruin anything either! Maybe test it in an area that’s not noticeable (i.e. the underarm)? Or just stick with cottons. If you’re unsure, best not to use unless you’re ok with the piece becoming a science project! haha! If you have luck with other materials let us all know so we can all benefit! Best of luck!
I used the above paste on a stain on my hardwood floors, it took it out.
love many of the method scents…just please tell me they will have peppermint vanilla & hollyberry scents this holiday season??
I LOVE Method! I even signed up for their giveaway on their facebook regarding a whole SLEW of these new design products! Been using for years and LOVE that you have found new ways of using my favorites!
Cheers!
I LOVE METHOD! THOSE ARE VERY PRETTY TOO. WONDER IF MY TARGET WILL BE OUT?
Will this work with their colored dish soap? Or should I stick with their clear dish soaps, like the Orla Kiely stuff?
I’m assuming it should work the same. 🙂
Oh ya! This is A-mazing! Removed black ink of clothes and a carpet stain… I’m definitely pinning this 😉
Thank ya
this trick is the jam. i don’t have the method soap, so i used a squirt of castile soap, and it worked like a charm- thanks!!
