Ironically, I’m not a huge fan of minty stuff. But at Christmas, somehow all rules are subject to change. Remember THIS peppermint bark? Or THIS peppermint ice-cream?
Tell me to stop with the peppermint, already. Ok don’t. Because I probably won’t listen. Then you’ll be bothered and we might exchange a word or five (oh dear). And then we’ll both end up on Santa’s Naughty List. Sad. We’re friends, remember?
So obviously, on December 5th when the urge to bake brownies sets in, they can’t be regular ‘ole brownies you’d eat January – November. No, in December we make them peppermint. Oh and not just peppermint… add another layer of ganache and we call it bark! Meep!
So cute! Where did you find the stripe paper to wrap them in?
I was fortunate enough to be a taste tester for this recipe and OMG was it yummy!!
I too am a lover of peppermint, but only this time of year.
