Can you believe we’re already halfway through 2012? Lickety-split and we’ll be talking candy corn & rudolph before we know it. Sheesh.
Thankfully there are some perks to June (other than being devoured by mosquitos. try having bites welts on the bottom of your heal and in-between toes! that’s what cute open toed sandals at dusk will get you).
June opens the door to warm weather, sun-kissed skin, and one of our family’s favorites: lazy day picnics!
In fact, this past Sunday kick-started our summer symphony concert series – the ideal picnic event.
Now if we could only get lil’ Mister to sit on the picnic blanket long enough to eat… Darn those ducks he always wants to feed! ha!
Great Finds!
The summer concerts sound like a lot of fun 🙂
We will have to start doing picnics and dining al fresco…yay for summer!
Love this idea, especially sandwich wrapping idea. Going to a farm (FIRST TIME EVER) with our munchkin for srawberry picking and will definitely have to set up this little picnic idea (already ordered half of this stuff online:)).
Hope you are getting some much needed breaks.
Yep. Going to have to do a picnic very soon!
Van has a lot of outdoor events like that in the summer too; though I tend to be always a bit late hearing about them lol. The picnic essentials sound spot on – nothing like a great picnic, right?? Hope you are adjusting well to being a wonderful mom of two (3, sorry Lulu!)
great post! I love picnics
