It’s called dying all things green on St. Patrick’s Day. Somehow pesto just seemed a bit more appealing, than say, green eggs. Dyed foods kinda have the adverse effect, turning my face & stomach green instead. Is this just me? Maybe I’m just not fun like that or something. But I will hand it to the lil’ leprechauns, rainbows, and lucky clovers for all being kind of adorable. So here’s to a lucky St. Patrick’s day lunch or dinner… without the dye but still all the fun!
Oh and Lil’ Lassies? I forgot to mention…
The pesto recipe is found HERE
Shamrock cookie cutters found HERE
(Cutters come in a 3-pack, giving the option to make smaller portions for our little wee ones).
YUMMM !!! Perfect for St. P day. I’m over fried green eggs too 🙂
You’ll have to let me know if you end up trying it!
Those rainbow kabobs are a cute idea! I’m with you: leave my food dye-free, please.
The kabobs are even tastier to eat!
Looks delicious! Not to mention insanely cute! 😉
-Love and sparkles
Awww, thanks friend.
Aw so cute, I love it! I made fruit kebabs just the other week; my favourite healthy dessert! I drizzle melted dark chocolate over them – yum! And I had a cereliac soup just this weekend at a restaurant for lunch and it was SO good!
Lately I’ve been trying to have a small bowl full of berries instead of ice-cream. Oi! Pregnancy…
your food ideas are fantastic and so creative! my sister and I always text each other whenever you put a new one up and we decide we MUST try ASAP every time!!
Lauren, your comment make me GOL (giggle out loud) literally! This means the WORLD to me. xo
