Soft Pretzels

July 11, 2013

With family in town, I wanted to make our time together extra special. Going to THIS baseball game was the perfect excuse to make homemade pretzels for snacking on. Then again, any excuse would be a good excuse for making soft buttery pretzels.

If by chance you have leftovers (which is probably as likely as a blizzard in August) – they can be easily frozen and reheated for when the onset of pretzel munchies hit!

Your pretzels look amazing. I worked with yeast for the first time just this past weekend, so I’m feeling all brave now and wanting to make all kinds of breads. Pretzels are probably next.

I love the printed wrappers! Where did you get those?

They’re from World Market — actually used for holding french fries (fry liners)… but perfect for pretzels, sandwiches or anything else that needs a pocket.

Check out World Market (in stores) and ask the clerk to point you to the french fry wrappers.
