News flash! The phrase: ‘I have nothing to do’ … has just been filed under EXTINCTION — right alongside Mama T-Rex, herself. Such a thing does not exist in a mother’s life. There’s always more to do and never enough time to do it all. And guess what? For once in my life, I stopped everything. For hours I just graciously sat and watched them. Enjoying them and all the beautiful little things they were doing with their tiny lives. It was remarkable and inspiring. Every single ounce of it. The fuzzy bunny snuggles, the lazy lounging cross-legged on the couch, the mess of a mediocre breakfast, reading and doodles just for the fun of it, and the sweet way the sunlight kissed their cheeks. Some mornings are meant for waking up slow. Today was one of them. xo
What a gorgeous little family you have! Amen to living in the moment and enjoying it! ?
This is what you’re best at! Your perspective on life is a breath of fresh air.
Love these snip its of real life! Although it’s not your 12hours, it’s just as beautiful! Keep this up!
Sweetest morning EVER! -XO!
So gorgeous xx
You’re absolutely right, a mama’s work is never done! Kids grow up so fast, sometimes you have to remind yourself to slow down and really be present. That’s something I’m working on too
Missy, could you tell me where you got the wonderful striped pillows please?
Your photography is always fantastic…but these seem especially great! Love the lighting! Do you mind sharing what you are currently using for camera and lens? I’ve had a Canon 60D for years, but considering upgrading.
I was thinking the same thing- these photos are amazing! Especially the drop of honey 🙂 And like Chrissy said, this reminded me of your 12 hour posts as well. What a beautiful, perfect morning. Thanks for sharing, Missy!
I adore these photos. The lighting is fantastic and the focus on the details makes it even more endearing! Love this post!
Hi Missy! Long time follower here ? I’m dying to know where that kids table (next to the window) is from. Any info would be MUCH appreciated! ? Thanks!
It’s an antique I found! Sorry I couldn’t be of more help!
