Venice in Vegas

When in Vegas, visit Venice — how’s that for an oxymoron? The only things missing: gelato on every corner, accordions piping in the streets, sweet aromas of hand-rolled pastas, and laundry airing from open windows.

The time we spent in Italy a few years ago was a trip we’ll cherish for a lifetime. Seeing Vegas’s rendition was entertaining, to say the least. I don’t know what the boys enjoyed more… tossing 25 cents worth of pennies from ALL the bridges or being serenaded by Italian opera (an ear-opening experience for little ears). But, ‘That’s amore!’

Sharing a triple chocolate cupcake with my boyfriends — which ironically, I happen to match (puts a whole new twist on the phrase, you are what you eat). Boats, pennies, Italian opera, hours spent with my family… I couldn’t ask for more. That is, unless we ALL visit Italy for a second time.

Isn’t it gorgeous? I couldn’t believe how gorgeous it was when I was in Vegas. All the hotels are so different, but amazing!!!! Looking so cute with your boys. Love the outfit. You look gorgeous as always. Have a great weekend!

I LOVE your outfit. You always look so great. How do you have time for all that? And here I mostly think about your gorgeous hair. I never have time for that, let alone blow dry it! Even your kids have fab style 🙂
I visited the Venetian in Hong Kong once and it looks exactly the same 🙂 Glad you had fun!

I grew up in Vegas and the venetian is one of my favorite hotels. The shopping and the spa are one of the best!! Plus who can resist a gondola ride in the middle of a hotel?
