We piled into the car, turned up the tunes real loud, and headed for higher elevations! As soon as the car geared into park, little fingers fumbled to ditch the seat belts faster than a tongue to an ice-cream cone! But with just a few steps towards the marked trail, it became clear that some of us are more afraid of heights than others — a’hem B, “I don’t think we should do dis, guys! That’s way far down dere… (insert clenched teeth emoji).” The wind in our hair and finding treasures along the way cured any initial jitters; and it was all smiles and holding hands (when needed) from then on. And were you to look down upon our little excursion, you’d keenly observe Ryan teaching his youngsters the proper way to skip rocks… and the occasional boulder. Ha! It was one for the books, you guys. Chances are, this little adventure will be on repeat! But perhaps next time, with a yummy picnic lunch (and a dozen or so cookies) in tow!

Oh how I miss that lake! I grew up just 10 minutes north of there. Such pretty pictures.
Adorable. Cutest family ever.
Loving that tee! What size did you get?
It’s a small! 🙂
Love this so much!! Are the rag and bone jeans that you linked the exact ones that you are wearing? They look a little different-do you love them?
They’re similar – mine have an unintended hole in the knee from tearing them during a photoshoot in the mountains last fall! ha!
Hey Missy! Where did you get the boys jeans from?
Looks like a fun day! You always capture the sweetest photos of your family.
Your pictures remind me of the book, “We’re going on a bear hunt.” Very pretty, your family is beautiful.
So cute! Where did you get little baby girl’s sweatsuit from? It’s adorable.
